The main theory of this research are Peter Gay (1989) and Sigmund Freud (1960). Super Ego is represented like the others throughout the book by Ralph and Piggy as well as other boys. Author, William Golding, exemplifies these impulses in his award winning book, 'The Lord of the Flies.' The Id, ego and superego are put to use through the main characters of the story. The ego is the kind that tries to find middle ground between the Id and superego. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative methodology. The super-ego is the moral kind that pushes goodness. In 2008 by The Time, Golding rewarded as the Third of “The Greatest British writers since 1945 and bring him into the success.
